| My name is Boni Pflum and I am a member of the Piedmont Kennel Club as well as the Bichon Club of America. I have lived in Charlotte for 16 years. I have two sons in college but I am not an empty nester. I have 8 dogs/ 7 Bichons and 1 stray that I adopted from the pound, 2 cats, one adopted off of Rea Rd while she was dodging cars. Our house is one of those houses that people with hurt wild animals and stray animals seem to migrate to. I don’t know how they know where to find people like me. I have been taking care of animals all of my life.
I have bred Bichon Frises for the past 16 years under my kennel name Paradise Bichons. My latest Champion is a little girl name “Treasure”. Treasure is a granddaughter of the Westminster Champion Bichon Frise “JR”. She delivered her first litter March 1, 2007. She had five beautiful babies that were all housebroken before they left for their new homes. Look for their pictures under my Bichon page.
I have cared for everything from guard dogs that were trained to only take food from the owners and myself to lap dogs, cats and kittens, birds and squirrels and fish. I offer care to the very youngest animal that need lots of exercise, to older animals that need extra TLC. I have two dogs that are diabetic, so I am familiar with giving shots and medicines to all types of animals.
My objective is to give the best care possible to all of my clients no matter what their needs are. All of my services are done by me and my two sons help when they are home from school. They both are very good with animals. Ryan is training his new Shepherd puppy in Schultzhund training and Charlie makes sure his 11 year old Bichon gets his teeth brushed every week.
Feel free to ask for references. I am very proud of the service I offer and have lots of very satisfied customers.
